Following Telecommunications Regulatory Authority (TRA)’s endorsement of the new national numbering plan for all telecommunications services (Fixed Line, Mobile and other services), Oman Telecommunications Company (Omantel) has revealed a well structured plan for implementing the numbering change with a theme “Simple to Follow and Easy to Remember”. According to the new plan, the telephone numbers (fixed & mobile services) will be changed to 8 digits instead of 6 or 7 digits.
